Amanda Dunlap is a Financial Advisor and Registered Financial Consultant with almost 30 years of experience helping individuals and families gain clarity, confidence, and control over their financial lives. With deep expertise in fee‑based planning and retirement income strategies, she focuses on delivering practical, accessible guidance — especially for women who want to build financial independence and long‑term security.
Amanda began her career in 1996 as a part‑time receptionist and grew through every level of the profession, giving her a rare, ground‑up understanding of how to support clients at every stage. In 2019, she purchased half of the practice and later founded Absolute Financial Planning, where she redesigned the client experience to be more intentional, educational, holistic, and values‑driven.
As a mentor and educator, Amanda creates spaces where women can learn, ask questions, and build confidence — from her WTFinance Wednesday women’s happy hour to her speaking engagements focused on financial literacy and professional growth. Her leadership also extends to the Women’s Advisory Board for Osaic Wealth, where she helps shape initiatives that strengthen and support female advisors across the firm.
Amanda’s commitment to community has included serving on the Board of Directors for The Autism Society of Texas and leading philanthropic efforts as the former Philanthropy Chair for Texas Women in Business, supporting organizations that serve women and children in Austin.
Outside her advisory work, Amanda and her family own a campground in Central New York, where they are developing an inclusive, accessible outdoor experience for guests of all abilities — another expression of her belief in creating spaces where people feel supported and welcome.
